Summary Review	I will be honest in this review, and note that I have fallen out of grace with tactical world war two battle games. I honestly was never really into them. Tide of Iron was a weird phase where I wanted scenario squad based games, but was too young and naive to really play them. However; although this was a game of fleeting interest, it was fun none the less.
Detailed Review	So, like I wanted to make note, I am not world war two board game miniatures war-gamer. I've played Tide of Iron (No expansions), Memoir 44', and that's really about it. The former of-course was more detailed then the later, however; my experience with the later has been better then the former. So, Tide of Iron is a fun game though. It is of-course a scenario style world war two squad miniatures board game that uses d6, and some really cool based with plastic figures. My only real gripe with them is that are impossible to get on, and break easily, which is annoying since squads switch and swap, and eventually some are just bound to break, especially with a thirteen year old me playing the game. The game itself is pretty enjoyable, with the players controlling small squads, usually of four or five members who move together, with each unit doing different abilities. Rifle-men get rifles, snipers get longer rifles, commanders control units, and medics heal wounds. There were also tanks, two-tracks, ect. that I really like the design over, and they were beast in the field. Over-all, I enjoyed the game though, but seeing at the lack of exact details, I will admit that it was pretty forgettable. I will say if your a fan of war miniatures game, try it, you probably will enjoy the scenarios, and it is a step up from Memoir 44', which was a much simpler game in the same vain of this. However; for others, be wary, or you might be leaving it on your shelf.
