    Rating: 9Reviewed By: Devonwester05/29/2014
Summary ReviewSmash Up is an insanely fun Card Battling game. Focused around Smashing together two different decks to make a unique deck That never plays the same way twice. It's lots of fun and great for small groups of 3 or 4.
Detailed ReviewSmash Up is a Deckbuilding game for 2-4 players.

The game comes with eight decks, each one with a different theme to them. Robots, Aliens, Zombies, Ninjas, Pirates, Wizards, Dinos (with Lasers) and Lucky (like Leprechauns and other irish mystical creatures)Each of these Decks has a very particular play style and when mixed with another deck they create a completely unique play style.

    How the Decks Play:

    - Zombies -
Zombies are heavily dependent on bringing back creatures from the Discard pile. they have lots of minions and lots of special effects that manipulate your discard. Great when paired with Robots.

    - Robots -
Lots and Lots of small cheap minions, and many of them that upgrade other minions or bring out other small minions. It's like an avalanche of nanobots. Very good with Zombies or Ninjas.

    - Ninjas -
They are all about assassination and deception. They have many cards that are directly about stealing points last minute or killing other minions. A personal Favorite of mine. surprisingly good when paired with Pirates

    - Pirates -
They're built around being able to jump between the different bases or taking out their enemies in one fell swoop. Havent played with them in my deck yet, but they seem pretty good with ones like Aliens or Ninjas

    - Aliens -
Aliens love to abduct people. They throw minions back to people's hands, or destroy minions, or make things disappear. Aliens are great at preventing your rivals from getting minions out. a personal favorite of mine.

    - Wizards -
Wizards chain actions together. I think I ended up playing 5 actions and 4 minions in one turn. They dont have many Minions but they have tons of interesting actions. very powerful when paired with a minion heavy deck like Aliens, Zombies or Dinos.

    - Dinos (with Lasers) -
Dinos (with Lasers) are a really fun style deck. theyre completely about being powerful and almost all of the cards are about beefing up your own minions. I enjoy playing them and lets face it, a T-rex with a Rocket launcher is awesome

    - Lucky -
The 'Lucky' deck is very tough to describe, it's mostly about cursing or blessing the various bases, It's fun to play with but easily the most difficult to master. I suggest using them with a set like wizards that gives you Action boosts.

So those are the 8 decks, Each one is different, and I really love the game.

I'll be picking up the other expansions soon so look out for those too!
