The store is just 1 mile east off of I-75, which makes it easily accessible from further out via connections with I-696, I-96 and M59.

Are you a Game Guru? Greetings Players, GOB is happy to announce a new program heading into 2024. The GOB Retail Game Guru program. The Game Guru program is where GOB helps to qualify experienced gamers who have a passion for a particular game and by outreach and scheduling through GOB, we can connect that Game Guru with interested persons who are willing to book a sit down with the Guru to learn that game. What is a Game Guru? A GOB Game Guru is a person that has moderate or above experience with a game they have a passion for and is interested in teaching it to others. A Game Guru will apply through the GOB site and if accepted, be available to GOB customers to book a session with them (at GOB). Once the first wave of Guru applications have been reviewed and a suitable list of Gurus have been selected, we will go live with the Guru program and begin accepting booking from customers. Why the Game Guru System? How many games do you know? Would you consider 100 a lot? 200? How does a game store support with a small staff support ten thousand games? Twenty thousand? Community. It's imperfect. It's chaos. But kind of works. Offer space to organize and play. Bring people together. Give them tools to connect. Organize learn to play events for the top games. But there are limits to the knowledge the GOB crew can wield to facilitate this all. This is where the Guru system comes in, allowing the passion from the community to more fully support the community. Another tool for the toolbox. We are excited to see this unfold. More to come.
